OEM marks on P14 Volley Sight parts
P14 volley sight parts were scrapped in the 1930's as obsolete during the Weedon Repair Program.  Karl Vines, Sutterton, Lincolnshire, UK, managed to find an original.

SMLE upper handguards
The SMLE upper handguards are relatively thin pieces of wood.  It is not unusual to encounter a SMLE where the prongs (or 'fingers') have been removed.
