This page is intended for links and information to regimental and military history sites of interest to the researcher and collector, as well as specialist book sellers.

James Mock (Torrence, California, USA) is a collector interested in US M1 Carbines that were used by police in Austria and Germany after WWII.  His website is www.AustrianM1carbines.com  He is just getting his website off the ground.  He was kind enough to provide both new information and pictures about the Oster Gendermerie.  We have a number of OG marked Lee-Enfield rifles; we're looking forward to putting up a couple of new pages with the new information.

If you have an old gun, you absolutly have got to check out Abby's list of Old Gun Catalogs www.cornellpubs.com  She gets her hands on old catalogs, makes good quality copies and sells them for a pittance.  If you want to research anything firearm related - and don't want to pay an arm and a leg - check out her list of 1000+ titles.  Absolutely amazing.  Just go look.

HARD TO FIND PARTS: Scott Stonehill (Evans, Georgia, USA) Evans Obsolete Screws manufactures a variety of hard-to-find parts, as well as doing first-class Enfield repairs.  If your rifle is worth restoration, this site is worth a visit.
