THE LIST OF CHANGES 2005 - 2003

TOOLS:
This must be bore viewer week. Ron Healey popped in to see an arms dealer in Ulster, Northern Ireland and walked out with a .22 caliber Type One bore viewerAl Fraser, Georgetown, Ontario, Canada send in pics of his Navy 1940 .50 caliber bore viewer for Vickers MG.  While we were at it, we added three new marked viewers, one with a BSA inspection stamp - the first inspection stamp ever reported on a bore viewer.  All found here: Bore Viewers.

February 21, 2005
TOOLS: Just when I think I've got most of the bore viewers covered, along comes Thomas Robb, Belfast, Northern Ireland, with a .22 caliber Type One bore viewer.  His friend Ron Healey took some great pics and sent them in. (Thank you!) We've added them to the page on Bore Viewers.

February 20, 2005
TOOLS: Ron Healey, Belfast, Northern Ireland, noticed that his EFD Type Two bore viewer sported the previously unreported O mark and promptly sent some good quality plonks. (Thank you, Ron!) We've added them to the page on Bore Viewers.

February 13, 2005
ENFIELDS ABROAD: Henry Gaidis, Olney, Maryland, USA, is a well-known collector and historian of Latvian military history. He was kind enough to send us a pile of pictures from the 1930s and 1940's of Latvian troops armed with various types of Enfield rifles.  We've added them (with our thanks!) to the page on Latvia's Enfields.

February 12, 2005
TOOLS: Ian Robertson, Nepean, Ontario, Canada, noted the previously unreported F stamp on an EFD Type Two bore viewer and sent in some pictures.  We've added them (and our thanks!) to the index of Bore Viewers.
