The Regimentals: Enfield Queue

1. A line of waiting people or vehicles.  To get in line.
2. A long braid of hair worn hanging down the back of the neck; a pigtail.
3. Enfield Queue: A line of stored rifles awaiting additional research and information.

Enfield Queue
Every museum has a back room, a place where the stuff not-quite-ready to be put on display is stored.  Even a virtual museum, like this one, has a back room.  This is it.  You are welcome to look around. The Queue is a list of rifles with a brief description and some quick notes on a virtual hangtag.  There are rifles to be cleaned and detailed, codes to decipher, things to do.  I still have to look up and verify regimental information, take some pics, find regimental web sites, books, and obtain publishing rights to various historical photos.  (May take a while, as I have a 'real' job.)  When it's ready the rifle gets moved over to REGIMENTAL ENFIELDS.

In the meantime, you're welcome to visit with these Old Soldiers. Some of them have come a long way.  These Enfields come from:
